Penta Hospitals CZ opens Polyclinic Florenc. Bringing modern outpatient care to the centre of Prague all in one place.
Polyclinic Florenc integrates professional diagnostics, prevention and treatment together with an individual approach to patients. An important part of its operation will also be the connection to other specialised Penta Hospitals CZ facilities. This group operates 17 hospitals, home healthcare and 54 senior homes across the Czech Republic. A smooth transition from the initial examination to further services will be led by care coordinators for connecting the subsequent treatment stages. A major role will also be played by the latest equipment, an experienced team of doctors and the logical sequence of individual examinations so that patients can address their health condition efficiently and without unnecessary delays.

‘Polyclinic Florenc is a key milestone for Penta Hospitals CZ. We are strengthening our presence in Prague and offering patients modern and easily accessible care in one place. Continuity is key – patients are clearly guided with a clear care plan and support from coordinators who navigate them through each step’, said Barbora Vaculíková, CEO of Penta Hospitals CZ.
Polyclinic Florenc will also include a wide range of medical healthcare services. Internal medicine, urology, neurology, diabetology, endocrinology, orthopaedics and dermatology will support patients. Additional specialties include allergology and immunology, ENT, gynaecology and obstetrics, general practice, paediatrics, physiotherapy, dentistry, cardiology, surgery, ophthalmology and dental hygiene. Moreover, in working together, our specialists ensure that patients receive comprehensive care all under one roof.
‘The Karlín area is undergoing radical development, so quality civic amenities are essential for this part of the city’s further development. The new polyclinic will enhance the availability of healthcare for local residents as well as for daily commuters to the area. I appreciate that the facility at Florenc will connect modern medicine, excellent transport accessibility and services with real benefits for daily life’, said Radomír Nepil, Deputy Mayor of Prague 8.
Polyclinic Florenc also offers top-quality care programmes that combine prevention, diagnostics and an individual approach tailored to each client’s needs. The programmes are suitable for both adult patients and children.
In addition to individual clients, Polyclinic Florenc will also focus on companies and employees’ health. It will provide comprehensive healthcare, including preventive programmes and occupational health services as well as OSH and fire protection support. This will enable companies to manage employee health care and the related legal obligations clearly and all in one place.
‘Healthcare has long been a key focus for the Penta Investments portfolio. The health sector has a strong social role, and the potential for long-term development, innovation and cultivation of care. We aim to expand capacities and, primarily, to build a service network that better responds to the needs of patients, healthcare professionals and employers. Polyclinic Florenc is one step in this broader strategy’, said Václav Jirků, the partner at Penta Investments responsible for healthcare.
The new polyclinic aligns with the group’s healthcare portfolio development and the broader transformation around Florenc. ‘Our new Polyclinic Florenc is part of a long-term strategy to develop healthcare services. In combination with excellent accessibility, the new Florence will contribute to the gradual revitalisation and transformation of the area’, added Marek Dospiva, partner and co-founder of Penta Investments.
The new Penta Hospitals CZ polyclinic combines modern medicine with clear care planning and an emphasis on patient comfort. The polyclinic’s opening represents another step in the development of accessible and continuous healthcare in Prague.
